Sir Patrick’s Personal History Has Had A Significant Influence On The Notable Success That He Has Achieved In His Lifetime.

Born in Guyana, South America, Sir Patrick moved to England with his family at the age of five. This proved to be a fortuitous move as it allowed him to take his primary education at superior schools in London. After earning his first degree, he found himself unable to pursue his MBA in the United Kingdom due to there being a scarcity of MBAs at the time. For this reason, he opted to travel to the United States in pursuit of his postgraduate education, achieving his degree in Business Studies and, later, his MBA in Economic and International Banking from Camden College.

Sir Patrick credits the twelve years that he lived and studied in New York as formative to his lifelong interest in Wall Street and his passion for the excitement of the trading floor. His natural aptitude for derivatives and debt markets landed him noteworthy positions with Wells Fargo and Deutsche Bank on Wall Street, where he gained crucial insights into the nature of debt capital markets, private placements and structured products.

Despite his expertise and considerable experience in the finance arena, Sir Patrick considers himself a perpetual student of business, economics and life in general. Throughout the course of his life, he has obtained multiple degrees including BAs, MBAs and a PhD from the University of St Andrews, the University of Southampton England, the University of Hertfordshire and the USA’s Camden County College respectively. Tantamount to the knowledge that he gained in the process of obtaining his various degrees are the life experiences he underwent in this time, which expanded his frame of reference and continuously reminded him that his insights must have real-world applications to be useful.

As a well-respected private banker, analyst, fund manager and trader, Sir Patrick has held prominent positions at major banking institutions worldwide including Wells Fargo, Deutsche Bank, Credit Agricole CIB, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, among others. He also has a successful trading history on Wall Street, which has seen him gain global recognition in the media as well as within professional worldwide networks. His work is considered a living showcase of professional ethics, intuitive reasoning and unquestionable expertise, which has led to him becoming a popular keynote speaker and conference headliner for a variety of notable governments, banking institutions, and corporations.

Sir Patrick’s core competencies include strategic planning, investment banking, financial modelling, financial analysis, portfolio management and project management. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 and holds both FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. This well-balanced and far-reaching skill set allows him to assess his clients and their financial positions with an expert’s eye, identifying with absolute accuracy what the best course of action is to ensure success in business and build a legacy of personal wealth.

In 2018, His Excellency, Sir Patrick Bijou, was knighted by the authority of the sovereign rulers of China and Hong Kong for his services to global banking and his charitable works.
